4. Hold your feet: Now hold your feet in your hands. Breathe naturally as you gently massage your feet while in Bound Angle Pose. As you massage your feet be aware that you are touching acupressure points, sending prana throughout your body. And you are grounding yourself by bringing attention to your feet. After you’ve massaged your feet for a few moments, stop and hold your feet.
5. Focus on your Root Chakra: As you inhale and exhale a few times, send warmth and healing red energy from your hands to your feet and feel the glow rise up your legs to your Root Chakra. With a tall spine, inhale and pull in your abdomen to protect your spine. On the exhale, initiating the movement from the hips, gently lean forward, leading with the chest. Lean forward no more than 45 degrees. Hold this posture for a few deep breaths in and out.
6. Release: Release this posture by sitting up, releasing your hold on your feet, bending your knees up toward the chest, and slowly rolling yourself down onto your back. Do any small movements that your body is asking for as a countermovement to Bound Angle Pose.
